A graduate of Iowa State University, Tim has over 25 years of banking experience in commercial, residential and agricultural loans. Prior to joining State Savings Bank, Tim worked for Norwest/Wells Fargo, giving him a full understanding of the advantages of doing business with a local, community bank. Growing up in a farming community in Northwestern Iowa, Tim understands the importance of community and his philosophy is to provide quality service at a fair price, both for the Bank and the customer.

With 29 years of experience in community banking, John understands that the feeling of community and personal relationships are key to maintaining a successful business and banking relationship. John has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Missouri, a MBA from Drake University, and is a graduate of the Wisconsin School of Banking. John strives to keep the Bank’s focus on the importance of establishing relationships with our customers and working with our community.
